CREATING THE SERVER

Make an account

Select "Create" in the top right

create droplet

Choose server location

Select Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

select basic

Select the Premium intel option, and 2CPUs (21 dollars per month) (this is the minimum, and i upgraded to 4vcpus and 8gb memory)

Create a STRONG password and write it down

Save the server

ACCESSING THE SERVER

Select your server

Click "Access" in the left hand menu

Power on the server

Click "Launch droplet console"

the server will pop up. it will be a linux terminal (white text on black background)
