You may find better ways, this is just the way I do it
Top right corner menu, then find settings
Callsign: you get one assigned to each phone. not sure how it is generated, but it can be changed
This is the three stacked squares on the top of the screen, select it and scroll down to map controls
turn off enhanced depth perception
turn off lollipop visibility
back out and go to "other overlays"
turn on grid lines
The tools at the top of your screen can be moved
open the top right menu
click the pencil
drag and drop tools
I use Drawing tools, contacts, maps, point dropper, red x, and quick pic
I will go over these and other tools later
